My inner Martha

Jean allowed my inner Martha to shine when she had me go and pick lilacs and arranged them in a variety of vases.

It was perfect, I had my Martha garden inspired work shirt on, the day was overcast with a slight drizzle of rain. I imagined myself a character in Anne of Green Gables on Prince Edward Island. Hey, I can dream can't I!

Take me out to the ball game!

It was that time of year where Eric and Jean were running around to all of the kids baseball games, and I got to tag along.

The first chance I had to go see Tyler play baseball my viewing ended abruptly when Christopher's diaper started leaking straight through his jeans and out onto the grass.

Eric piled the kids into the car while we all plugged our noses and raced home.

The next game I was more prepared and we had a great time.

THE END.

An Afternoon Out and About

Eric insisted that he could take care of all his children, 5 + Christoper for a total of 6 kids for the afternoon while Jean and I went to Annapolis. He had to convince me that he really was up to the challenge and that he had done this before, yeah right, so we were off. I love Arizona, but you just don't get to experience any charming towns such as down town Annapolis.

Jean and I took our time going in and out of the tiny shops without any kids and had a great afternoon looking at the different homes and enjoying our time away. Unfortunately, I think I took only two pictures of my entire trip to Maryland, so I will just have to depend on my memory and trust I make it back someday. Oh and if I had an extra million or two, I would also buy a home by the port as well as run a little boutique shop, just for fun.

Christopher, Meet the Paul's

I was a little worried that Christopher would be the only cousin on my side, and would then be the loner of the family, but not to fear, I can always count on Jean!

Meet Adam,

Adam meet Christopher!

Christopher, meet Brandon and Mason

I liked to call Mason the "Little Old Man". He would always rub Christopher on the head and say, "Hello Chrith-topho" in only the way Mason can. I always expected him to pull a Werthers out of his pocket and offer one to Christopher.

Tip Toe Through The Tulips

It was a warm yet pleasant Sunday afternoon in Towson, Maryland. Jean packed a picnic lunch so we could go spend an afternoon after church among the beautiful tulips. Once we stopped multiple strangers on the side of the road in an attempt to find our way, we made it.

The grass was green and the tulips ranged from every color imaginable. There wasn't fields of tulips like I had pictured, but circular plots with all different varieties of tulips planted here and there through out a field of grass, and trees.

(Someone doesn't listen to instructions very well)

The homes surrounding the park made the experience even more charming, if I had an extra million or two laying around, I think I would buy one. We found a spot and had lunch under a tree along with other families enjoying their Sunday afternoon.

The kids had a fun time running around taking pictures and finding trees to climb. It was a pleasant afternoon

Finals...need I say more?

It is that time of the semester again, FINALS! This is not a fun time for Bryan or myself, the insanity starts creeping in and it's better for the family if we part our ways for a little while. I originally had the idea from Afton, seeing her come to Arizona just before Cam's finals with Caroline, and then once in Texas, I realized a lot of the wives tend to flee to family while their husbands stay behind to study. It's not fun being away, but Bryan can stay and study as much as he wants and I won't go crazy not ever having a break from dear sweet Christopher. During this semesters end I am taking refuge at Jean and Eric's (Brother and Sister-in-Law). I was lucky I have a loving but at times absent minded father that purchased a round trip ticket from Salt Lake and Back, remember my parents live in AZ, so with the extra ticket and a S.W. Ding, I made my way to Towson, Maryland for two weeks.

I will keep you updated on my adventures, but in the mean time pray for Bryan and give him a call, he is lonely without his dear sweet wonderful, caring, nurturing, supportive, selfless, attentive, mother of his child, and wife, oh and Christopher too!
