Christopher is now 8 months old and I am finally coming around to working on his room. The past month I have been creating an art project for his wall. I took the idea from Pottery Barn Kids and changed it up a little. I got a lot of the frames from a lady on Freecycle and the rest I ventured out to our local Savers (interesting experience) to fill in the blanks. I don't think I like the colors I chose but it will do for now. The furniture doesn't quite fit as well as I would like but it will do for the next three years. It sounds like I am just making a bunch of excuses which I am but being the interior designer it's hard not to look at everything with a very critical eye. Anyway, I am still on the hunt for some drapery and I have a idea for a mobile that is needed to fill in the bare spot on the wall next to the tree, but this will all come in time. Oh yes, and the frog hooks I am very proud of, they are my Hobby Lobby find. They were bronze and 4 bucks each but I got them half off and painted them with the left over paint from the tree project. I think they fit with the loose theme of nature and look like they are worth more then $4. I will update once I finish the room but this will do for you guys that are wondering what I have been up to.

The glare makes it hard to see the tree

My favorite thing in the entire room is the bumper pad mom made.

Finally pics of the nursery! Looks so fun! What color is the tree?... the glare does mess it up a bit. Make sure to do some measurements so we can bust out some curtains when you're here.
