Well, all schools in good ole Lubbock were canceled on Friday due to the excessive flooding from all of the rains that came. Since Bryan had some extra time we decided to go for a walk. I tried to dress the baby in something warm but this very little sweater hardly made it over his ever growing belly.
So this was my solution, yes those are socks on his hands. I am in trouble when it starts to get cold here because I am an Arizona girl and don't even own a sweater, I think I will have to invest in a couple tube socks so I can keep my hands warm as well. Oh, and yes I got Bryan to wear the Snuggli that you see in the picture, he offered so I said go for it - He looked a bit dorky but I thought it was so hilarious I didn't say anything and made him think I was getting a picture of the baby when I just wanted to document this. The truth is, I think anyone wearing a papoose thing looks nerdy, but they do the job.
Looking Good! All tuckered out! You can't see it but there is a puddle of drool on Bryan's hand.
Don't be too surprised if our family has to dress like this for the the upcoming winter months, our money will go to the heating bill leaving us to make do with our socks to keep us warm.
