Baby Whisperer Numero Dos

Yes, just call me the Baby Whisperer Numero Dos. I may be jumping the gun a little, but baby Christopher had an awesome day of napping in his own bed and went to bed tonight like a champ. This past week and a half I have been working on undoing all of my parenting skills I put in place over the last three months. Christopher would not sleep unless being held, or sleep longer then 10 min. at a time because he kept spiting out the pacifier. I have spent hours on the phone consulting on how to go about undoing what I have done with Sandra and Mom so some of the credit can go to them. I have also read the Baby Whisperer, and Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child in hopes of solving my issues. I was a woman on a mission especially since Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child informed me I would have a bratty child that would grow to an adult with issues, or something like that if the child did not get sleep. I had a couple things already going against me such as the vibrating chair, (I swear those things can't be good, but it kept him quiet), paint fumes from the home renovation, and Bryan and I as parents. So like I said, I was a woman on a mission because Christopher has to overcome so many obstacles. You may be asking how I accomplished this amazing task; well you will have to wait for my book, but it had a lot of crying involved (no I did not Ferberize) getting rid of a pacifier, a Miracle Blanket (a.k.a. stray jacket that I bought for way too much money at a baby boutique in Scottsdale and worth every penny), and what I am calling a Miracle Sock. I can't get too detailed with the Miracle Sock because it is worth marketing but lets just say socks as mentioned in an earlier post can be used for many things in the Jensen Household. Ok, so I will never market the Miracle Sock so what I did was cut a hole for the babies thumb to stick through so those blasted extra fingers wouldn't get in the way, it seemed to do the trick and I have been using it ever since. I am available for phone interviews for all of you struggling parents, I will be more then happy to charge you ridiculous amounts of money to tell you how you screwed up your child, but don't call during the hours of 9, 1, & 3 because my child will be napping! Ha ha, anyway, I just thought I would share my great news and tell everyone to pray for me that Christopher's sleeping may continue so I can get this house finished, oh and some sleep for myself.
